The Oaks may get Flashing sign and speed bumps,
and a lower speed limit
We found out that the City of Kissimmee is meeting in the Month of May, and at that meeting they are going to find out a few things, Bringing down the speed limit in all neighborhoods to 25 mph and to find out if we can get our Speed calming devices in just the places that are needed.
It seems that other neighborhoods are complaining as much as the Oaks. It only take a few to ruin it for everyone else.
This will make it easier for the Police to make out tickets that make sense. instead of giving out tickets for just 5-6 miles over the speed limit they will be able to get the driver for a bigger fine also.
Also we may get a sign that will tell your speed limit as you come into the Oaks.
It will say Speed limit is 30 MPH (OR 25) and it will tell your speed.
We will not know if this is a "for sure thing" or not until the end of the month.
The City of Kissimmee has to meet on this first.
