Save the Planet Solicitors were escorted off the Oaks property.

Earlier today (September 2nd 2010) Joe got a call from a resident of Putter Place. He mentioned that a girl was at his house wanting to come in and look at his house to show him how to save energy.

He said it seemed suspicious. (In today's world you should be aware of everyone) He said that she mentioned that she worked for the Government and was there to give an annalist of his home. He asked for I.d. and she did not have any?

"But" he said, "She had no I.D. on her stating this fact, I work for the government and you have to have I.D."

So Joe told him to call the Police, He can NOT call for him, and he did.

A few minutes later Joe felt it was time that the Kissimmee Police were probably there by now and he hopped in his car and proceeded toward Putter Place or in that vicinity...He saw the girl on Pitch way. He stopped her and said that there was NO solicitation in the Oaks, then she commented, "we are not soliciting we are giving out free advice.' In which Joe snapped back, "Yeh then you give them advice, and tell them to go to a website to buy the things they need, don't feed me any B.S. it's still soliciting." He asked if they she had a car, she said no. and replied, that she would have to call her boss to pick her up.

Joe stayed around the corner to see if she did call her boss.

A few minutes later, her boss showed up in a white van and picked her up. Joe followed the van to make sure that he didn't drop her off in another part of the Oaks, (which happens most of the time)

He went to pick up the rest of the people involved, as Joe approached one of the guys said, "there's my Boss, he's the driver."

Joe Drove over and asked if he could talk to him and he said yes. ( Now Joe has asked for a police car but no one has showed, in a half hour.) The guy gave the same spiel as the girl and Joe gave the same spiel as he gave to the girl. The guy was very nice about it, and Joe escorted the van off the premises of the Oaks.

As the Van was parked on the side and Joe was talking to them, two people walked up and told Joe that they told them that there was no soliciting in the Oaks. ( thank you, but it would have been a little bit better if they would have called it in)

Great Job by the neighbors!!!  This is the way it should be. we stick together against crime and this is what is suppose to happen, except the Police will be here next time....You have to Cal Cal Cal. then you will get there response, If the Osceola side would have also called we would have had the Sheriffs Department also respond.

Once one company get's the word out the others will not come here!!

Thank you to all the Residents who helped!
