Paved Oaks Blvd
The Oaks Blvd on the Osceola side Paved
The Oaks Neighborhood watch sent a thank you note.
Hi This is Joe Trippi coordinator from the Oaks Watch.
Residents wanted something to stop speeding all around the Oaks Blvd, on the Kissimmee side and the Osceola side.
This story concerns the Osceola side.
I called my friend Joe at Traffic Engineering and they turned down the speed cushions, for various reasons. Mostly because the County didn't have the money.
So I asked him that since they could not do that could they at least fix the road. He said they could but it would take 6 months to a year. He put in the request with an email that read:
Dave,
It is
brought to our attention by The oaks Neighborhoods Watch Program
President Mr. Joe Trippy, that the street pavement on the County segment
of The Oaks Blvd. might be due for resurfacing (see attached photos).
Hello Mr. Bitar,
I could not get the
emails of the folks responsible for paving the Oaks Blvd, and I would
like to thank them.
I have talked to
residents who have been so appreciative for the effort. It makes all the
difference in the world.
So please forward my
sincere appreciation to all involved in this process.
We need to keep a close
relationship like this because I feel this is the way to keep out doors
open to success.
The hard working people
who made this possible need to be recognized and on behalf of our
residents I would like to make that possible through this email.
I know that our
Neighborhood Watch, we are residents who are warranted with safety
issues and this is one of them in a different sense.
So Please say thank you
to all involved, It is a big issue for our residents.
