SOLICITING IN THE OAKS
Soliciting is NOT allowed in the Oaks let alone in the City of Kissimmee.
We have articles that have been published in our news letters about solicitors coming to residents doors in the Oaks and stealing.
A few incidents were, when a lady went to go get her check book "the two"Nice Kids" stole her husbands gold watch and wallet. and some other small jewelry. The wallet was found in between a home and brought to the Police Department.
She did not know until after they were gone.
Another instance happened on Rough side court. When solicitors came to the door they did their business, and the lady mentioned that she was late for a Dr.s appointment. So as soon as she left she got up John Young Parkway and got a call from her alarm company that someone broke into her home, just minutes after she left. She turned around and came home to find he large HD TV gone. Her glass door broke down, and they took the large T.V. through the front door, and took off with other small items also.
So do NOT let solicitors in your home. After a few times of telling them to leave and they do not, call your law enforcement non emergency phone number. Tell the operator you need someone "NOW" THEY ARE AT YOUR DOOR TRYING TO GET IN." a Law enforcement will be there right away.
DO NOT aggravate them so they damage your car or home. just call Law Enforcement.
