Rules to use the Camera's

By law we can not release any information to residents from the Camera's.

The Camera's are not used by the Home Owners Association,

The Oaks Neighborhood Crime Watch  has installed them for the safety of our neighborhood.

Here at the Oaks Watch we would like to let you know a few things about our Camera's.

The Oaks Watch would like to let you know that we do not get individual information from our CAMERA'S.
We only get information for Law Enforcement when they ask us.
If your Boyfriend or husband is with someone else or you had damage on your car, we are not going to find out this information for you.

The Camera's are not installed for that purpose. They are installed for the purpose of use for our Law enforcement.

You have to understand that if we start doing this for the residents we would be pulling information every other day for people.  Besides your computer does not have the proper software to run the CD'S from the camera unit.

We advise that you get camera's installed in the front of your home for your personal use

In other words we will NOT go to the Camera's unless your Law Enforcement officer contact us for use. (detectives will contact us on your case)

A resident does not have the proper application to view the CDS.

Your computer or DVD player will not play these on your DVD player.

They are installed if Law Enforcement feels it is necessary to look for a suspect.

We originally installed the camera's for Law Enforcement to use in case of a severe crime in the Oaks.

We have used our Cameras on several occasions that have caught a suspect and put him behind bars.

This is a simple process of what occurs in order to use the Camera's.

1. a Crime is committed.

2. Detectives have a timeline of when this crime occurred and gives it to the Oaks Watch.

3. We go back to the camera's an set the date and time of the wanted information.

4.Once the C.D. is ready we call Law Enforcement to pick up the C.D.

5. Law Enforcement brings the information back to their lab and Plays it on their computers that have the software that the CD'S require.

6. By law we can not release any information to residents from the Camera's.
