We will have more on Code Enforcement, on this page. We have booklets available if you would like one contact the Oaks Watch.
We had Code enforcement at our Meeting but no one showed up. There were more officers than Residents.
Our 2nd Meeting on Code Enforcement was a lot better. More people showed and more information was let known to all. It was a very good meeting.
We have reports from residents of this and that, but they do not know when to call Code Enforcement.
1. Undesirable Cars in the Street or Driveway that do not have license plates.
This could also be an abandoned car.
2. Residents are working on a lot of Cars in their driveway, showing that the resident of that home is fixing cars of other people at his or her home. You can not do that in the laws of Kissimmee. It also comes under "No business from the home.
3. Residents should not have a business from the home that will create congestion for other residents.
4. Parking in the street obstructing a turn is also a code enforcement issue. If your Car is in the street, and oncoming cars can not see other traffic coming around the turn, This is an offense.
Lawn higher that 12 inches. Code enforcement will issue a certificate to the residents to cut the lawn or be fined. This is also a long process so be patient.
